June date change and it’s Pizza Day!

It has been such a pleasure to have your junior chefs participating in the Cooking with Kids Club events since December. We will be taking a summer break and will most likely resume in October. Meanwhile, we want to close out with a bang! We asked the kids last month what they would like to cook that they haven’t tried yet, and pizza was one of the responses. With so many options for crusts, sauces, toppings, etc., and with the summer fresh veggies and fruits just around the corner, we couldn’t think of a better menu ourselves! We will have at least ten different types of crusts and several ideas for sauces all ready for the kids to help prepare. We will also have an assortment of toppings available, but would like to have each junior chef pick one or two items they would like to include on their pizzas. We will leave it to you how that is determined but, of course, are hoping that some fresh items are part of that group!  We will be having a few special items for the kids and we do encourage you to bring guests – including other parents who might be interested in joining us this Fall. AS ALWAYS, PLEASE BE SURE EVERYONE IS REGISTERED ON THE FRESH IS BEST EVENT PAGE – WE DON’T WANT TO RUN OUT OF FOOD.
